STATEMENT OF INTENT for Royal Photographic Society's Associateship Award My aim is to produce strong graphic style images of interesting fragments of everyday life. I combine experimental camera work and unusual shooting angles with varied levels of digital manipulation to transform ordinary into extraordinary while still maintaining the photographic origin of the images. Matt media, small size and a square format is deliberately used to further enhance the graphic quality of the images and to invite viewers to take a closer look. Pirjo Keene 2008
